Parent Participation
At St. Paul's School we believe that parent participation and involvement is an important part of your child's school experience. Parents may become involved by joining a parent committee, attending parent education programs and volunteering at special events at the school.

Parent-Teacher Conferences are held two  times a year to discuss the progress of the child.

Parent Observations
Each year some parent volunteers are asked by the St. Paul's School Council to observe and give their feedback on the classes and their teachers. Here are some of the comments from this past school year.

Infants: "Such a sweet class! Teachers were a delight to observe and visit with. The children were happy and at ease....I think the class is wholesome, nurturing, fun simple, direct, and whole-child friendly.  In other words ... sweet!"

Toddlers: "Clever ideas and learning. Two teachers that work well together. Cooperative and willing to adjust to children."

Older Toddlers: "Children are pretty independent and expected to do things on their own. Impressed when the lights went out and the children started singing the cleanup song on their own."

Twos/Young Threes: " The class feels harmonious and relaxed. The children know what to expect and what's expected of them."   "Has a positive feel to it; the teachers and kids are happy and everybody wants to be there; They are learning while they play -- perfect!"   "Loved the sensory experiment - cant' wait to try it at home! Just when you thought I couldn't be more of a St. Paul's cheerleader, I get to watch more really wonderful teachers and I love this school more."

Threes: "Calm, content, engaged children! This seemed to be reflection of the teachers. Great teamwork among the teachers. Organized yet fun classroom."   "Lots of print in room, teachers engage with kids entire time. Transitions went well. Kids sat at circle time appropriate amount of time for age."

Fours: "I loved that the teachers were busy teaching bus also responding to the children giving them attention, compassion, praise and direction."   " The children are very happy and interact well with each other."

Fives: "Great Earth Day lesson. They did lots and were so enthusiastic and had such good ideas that I wanted to participate too."
